From the first of August until the 22nd of August QUSS vzw presents "Condition". It traces the tension between private and public space and it's located between photography and installation art. It is researching the possibility to register the occurence of the daily environment.

Platform 4

An initiative of QUSS vzw in collaboration with BolwerK

In the middle of the exhibition space a steeplejack is installed. It holds a platform of about 2 square meters on street level. The remaining space is empty, but this can chance during the project. The distance between the platform and the walls can’t be physically bridged. This “tower” remains on the same place and will be the only structural element during the different actions that will happen during the following month.
The steeplejack becomes a potential space that can be used for observation. The view from the platform can be focussed on the street, but also on the internal dynamic inside the building or on a constructed situation in the exhibition room itself. This observation can result into an interaction or a production.

The project will take place in the Designcenter De Winkelhaak, Lange Winkelhaakstraat 26, 2060 Antwerp. From the 21st of July until the 19th of August.
